Guam Entry Level Mitigation includes two courses to prepare you for certification to install radon mitigation systems on Guam.
Please note – completion of the Guam entry level measurement course is a pre-requisite to this course. |
1. National Mitigation Course – Radon Mitigation Technology
This entry level course approved by NRPP prepares you to conduct radon mitigation and to take the national NRPP exam. It is presented in a convenient and comprehensive format that allows you to listen to audio sections in interview format, review key points with the course manual, and reinforce the information with online review questions, as well as experience “hands-on” field exercises with an instructor arranged through Guam Community College. Course Includes:
National Mitigation Certification Exam: Upon successful completion of this course you are eligible to take the National Mitigation Certification Exam which is available through Guam Community College. The cost for the exam is not included with this course and is payable directly to GCC. |
2. Guam Specific Mitigation CourseThis course is a supplement to the national mitigation course and is required for being listed with the Guam EPA for conducting radon mitigations on Guam.
Course includes:
Guam Specific Mitigation Certification Exam: Upon successful completion of this course you are eligible to take the Guam Specific Mitigation Certification Exam which is available through Guam Community College. The cost for the exam is not included with this course and is payable directly to GCC. This exam covers both Guam Specific Measurement and Mitigation. |
