This program discusses current practices and alternatives to the installation of radon control techniques in building construction and incorporates valuable comments from seasoned mitigation contractors, engineers and school maintenance personnel who attended this highly interactive program. A code standard/update was added to the course in 2022.

There is approximately 8 hours of coursework, including video, publications, and online quizzes that are taken as you progress through the course (not timed and may be taken unlimited times). There is no time limit for taking the course, and even after completion you continue to have access to the course in order to refer back to resources.

CERTI students also have access to business tools such as sample contracts, and warranties. We are also available by phone during and after the course for any questions concerning the course or radon situations you come across on the job.

    All information and questions was very easy to understand and answer. I enjoyed this course.

    The course is great. The information is getting to the point testing companies and mitigators do not know who to follow. Ive discussed this with many people in the industry. If we’re going to provide quality then we need a standard, not mounds of information. Our state and local offices (which require us to have a license) do not know a single answer when it comes to radon. There is no real repeatable guidance and we are left with 100% of the risk. Today I do this…tomorrow I do this….and homeowners are left in the dust.

He has always developed, produced, and presented material in a manner that is easy to comprehend and remember. 

    The discussion of the material by attendees yields valuable information just as it always has. I recommend CERTI to everyone I know in the radon business and contractors who plan to build structures that are radon resistant.
